Students at Hannah School have been busy reading all kinds of wonderful books.  Here are some of their reviews and recommendations.

"I liked the book Cam Jansen and the Mystery of the Circus Clown by David A. Adler.  It is really funny and I love funny books.  In this book, Cam Jansen, her friend Erich Shelton, and her Aunt Molly go to the circus and Aunt Molly's wallet gets stolen.  They go on a case to find it."
                                   K. S., Gr. 2/3

"I read the book The Rag Coat by Lauren Mills, about a girl who could not go to school because she didn't have a coat.  I did not like this book because it is sad.  I like this book because it teaches you not to make fun of people because it hurts their feelings and you can get in trouble."
                                    A. S., Gr. 2
"101 Dalmations is a book based on the movie by Walt Disney.  It is a good book.  The owners started with 24 puppies and ended up with 101.  That's a lot of brothers and sisters."                                                                 S. P., Gr. 2
"Harry Potter is a book that is serious, kind of funny, and sad.  This book is by J. K. Rowling.  I like this book because I like witches and wizards."
                                    S. P., Gr. 2
"I liked the book I Spy by Walter Wick because it was full of pictures."
                                  M. C., Gr. 1
"Bees talk to other bees by dancing.  Bees use their antennas to feel, hear, and smell.  A queen bee lays over a thousand eggs a day.  I found out these interesting facts in Bees by Elin Kelsey."
                                                                                               K. F, Gr. 3
"I liked the book Killer Whales by Kevin J. Holmer because my favorite animal is a killer whale. I liked this book because my favorite animals live in the water and I like books with facts."
                                    T. G., Gr. 3
"The title of my book is Viking Ship at Sunrise by Mary Pope Osborne.  I liked that book because they went on an adventure on a foggy island.  It reminds me of when I went to Misery Island and explored."
                                 D. T., Gr. 3
"I like the book Holes by Louis Sachar because it has a lot of suspense and it is very funny.  I think the age group for this book is 8-12.  I like how this book was put together.  I recommend this book to kids if they like suspense and laughs."
                                                                                              H. S., Gr. 4
"The book From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler by E. J. Konigsburg was a mystery book.  It was about two kids who run away to a museum in New York.  The girl and boy want to try and find out about a statue in the museum.  They think it's done by Michelangelo.  They are not sure and in the end they find out who did it.  I am not going to tell you either.  I really enjoyed this book and I'm sure you will too."
                                                                                             D. H., Gr. 4
"I think you should read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J. K. Rowling.  It is an exciting, bone-chilling, magical, and mysterious book.  This book also has characters you will relate to, even though they are make-believe.  This book will put you in a magical adventure..."
