4/14 Community Update

Dear Beverly Public Schools Community,

I am writing to provide an update on the Superintendent search process. 

The Beverly School Committee was informed over the weekend that one of our Superintendent candidates, Mr. Sean Gallager, has withdrawn from the search process. We appreciate Mr. Gallager’s time and dedication to this process and wish him the very best in his future endeavors. 

We have canceled Mr. Gallagher’s meet-and-greet events, which were scheduled for Wednesday, April 16. The rest of the search process will continue as scheduled, and we look forward to speaking with Dr. Cushing and Dr. Turner.

We value community input and encourage everyone to join the candidates tonight and tomorrow in the middle school library. (Alternatively, you can watch the candidate interviews via BevCam.) The School Committee will consider feedback received up until 10 a.m. Thursday, before its discussion and deliberation later that night.
