New Employee Onboarding

We are so happy to have you join our amazing learning community to support the youth of our city.  Below you will find important resources and information regarding our district.
 
Employment Forms
After you are offered a position with Beverly Public Schools, you must complete the appropriate new employee packet.  All completed forms must be submitted to Human Resources in order for you to be added to our payroll system. Be sure to have two (2) or more forms of identification to complete the CORI form and I-9 verification process. Acceptable forms of identification are a driver's license, Social Security card, birth certificate or U.S. passport. 
 
Background Checks
Two mandatory elements of the onboarding process are the CORI form and fingerprinting.  The CORI form is included in our new hire packet.
 
Fingerprinting
All new hires are subject to “An Act Relative to Background Checks”, which requires a fingerprint-based state and national criminal record check for all school employees.  The State Applicant Fingerprint Identification System (SAFIS) has been created for this purpose.

If you have been previously fingerprinted for another district, you can contact your previous district’s Human Resources department to send a Letter of Suitability to Annie Davidson at [email protected].  (Please note, we cannot accept a Letter of Suitability that is over seven (7) years old.) 
 
Otherwise, please schedule a fingerprinting appointment with IdentiGO here as soon as possible.  Fingerprinting must be completed through IdentiGO using the link above.
 
  • Select In-State Digital Fingerprinting Services (Live Scan)
  • Select Pre-K-12th Grade Education ESE as the agency/sector
  • Select either Licensed Educator or All Other School Personnel as the reason
  • Enter 00300000 for the Provider ID
  • Enter a zip code for participating locations
  • You can then select a participating location, select an appointment date and time and enter your personal and payment information.
  • Please note that there is a $35.00 fee for non-licensed (DESE) employees and a $55.00 fee for DESE licensed employees.  
  • Once processed, results will automatically be sent to Annie Davidson in Human Resources.
